By Barber Paul

If you've gone thru the first P90X DVD series, you could be asking yourself, What's next? Well, Beachbody steadily researches and develops exercising schedules, and has come up with the P90X2 : The Subsequent P90X DVD Series Base Kit. As the name says, this new programme raises the bar and it features 12 work-outs that focuses on your core (abs), athleticism, agility, and balance. What exercise programs are included and how can they help you.

X2 Core. This exercise is aimed toward improving your movement. The basic idea is, your core is essentially your centre of gravity and your body's prime mover, and by developing it you can improve your movement.

Plyocide. This was developed to boost your stamina, coordination, and speed.

X2 Recovery + Mobility. As the name says, this particular bit of the program centres on developing your body's recovery. An analogous exercise can be found in P9OX, though the one in X2 offers an additional benefit: it improves your body's overall functionality. It also can include a stretching routine as a substitute for the exercise's use of a firm foam roller..

X2 Total Body. This exercise develops form, which is sort of beneficial. Form will teach your body which muscles to be employed in a fixed movement and commit each movement to muscle memory.

X2 Yoga. Yoga is also incorporated in the first PX90 DVDs, though it takes a slightly different slant in the P90X2: The Next P90X DVD Series Base Kit. This exercising is geared more in line with improving your range of motion and building strength.

Balance + Power. In this exercise, you develop both balance and strength, which should help you push yourself further.

Chest + Back + Balance. This is pretty much as the Chest & Back exercises in P9OX, though it adds balance into the picture, thus giving a much more challenging weight-training exercise.

X2 Shoulders + Arms. The shoulders are particularly susceptible to injury, and therefore this exercising is geared toward developing the higher limbs.

Base + Back. This exercise is one of the most punishing among the remainder of the workouts in the P90X2: The subsequent P90X DVD Series Base Kit, though it's also believed to be the most entertaining and satisfying.

P.A.P. Lower. Post-Activation Potentiation, or P.A.P, is said to be this kit's special sauce. It includes a round of movements that were created to increase performance.

P.A.P. Upper. It's pretty much like P.A.P. Lower, but this concentrates on your shoulders and chest.

X2 Ab Ripper. Well, the name explains it. The Ab Ripper targets the core and chisels your waist muscles further.

There you have it guys, the 12 workouts included in the P90X2: The Next P90X DVD Series Base Kit. Are you up to the task?
